a ll the valiant men arose, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.

s'au sculat toţi oamenii viteji, au luat trupul lui Saul şi trupurile fiilor lui, şi le-au dus la Iabes. Le-au îngropat oasele supt stejar, la Iabes, şi au postit şapte zile.
