T hen Amnon hated her with exceedingly great hatred; for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. Amnon said to her, “Arise, be gone!”

Poi Amnon prese a odiarla di un odio grandissimo, cosicché l'odio che aveva per lei era piú grande dell'amore con cui prima l'aveva amata. Cosí Amnon le disse: «Lèvati, vattene!».
