W hen Jacob finished charging his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the spirit, and was gathered to his people.

وَلَمّا انتَهَى يَعقُوبُ مِنْ تَوْصِيَةِ أولادِهِ، سَحَبَ قَدَمَيهِ إلَى السَّرِيرِ. ثُمَّ لَفَظَ أنفاسَهُ الأخِيرَةَ. وَضُمَّ إلَى جَماعَتِهِ.
