N ow your two sons, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you into Egypt, are mine; Ephraim and Manasseh, even as Reuben and Simeon, will be mine.

De aceea cei doi fii ai tăi, care ţi s-au născut în ţara Egiptului, vor fi ai mei; Efraim şi Manase vor fi ai mei aşa cum sunt Ruben şi Simeon.
