A nd now your two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.

De aceea cei doi fii ai tăi, care ţi s-au născut în ţara Egiptului, vor fi ai mei; Efraim şi Manase vor fi ai mei aşa cum sunt Ruben şi Simeon.
