H ọ ngờ người sẽ bị sưng lên, hoặc ngã xuống chết tức thì; nhưng đã đợi lâu rồi, chẳng thấy hại chi cho người, bèn đổi ý mà nói rằng thật là một vì thần.

Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
