N ầy, ngày nay, ta lập ngươi lên làm thành vững bền, làm cột bằng sắt, làm tường bằng đồng, nghịch cùng cả đất nầy, nghịch cùng các vua Giu-đa, các quan trưởng nó, các thầy tế lễ, và dân trong đất.

Today I have made you as a strong city ready for war, as a pillar of iron and as walls of brass against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, the rulers, its religious leaders, and the people of the land.
