d enn ich will dich heute zur festen Stadt, zur eisernen Säule, zur ehernen Mauer machen im ganzen Lande, wider die Könige Juda's, wider ihre Fürsten, wider ihre Priester, wider das Volk im Lande,

Today I have made you as a strong city ready for war, as a pillar of iron and as walls of brass against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, the rulers, its religious leaders, and the people of the land.
