V ậy, hỡi Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên! ngày nay xin làm trọn lời Chúa đã hứa cùng tôi tớ Chúa, là Đa-vít, cha tôi, rằng: Nếu con cháu ngươi cẩn thận các đường lối mình, đi ở trước mặt ta, y như ngươi đã đi, thì trước mặt ta sẽ chẳng hề thiếu một kẻ hậu tự ngươi đặng ngồi trên ngôi nước Y-sơ-ra-ên đâu.

Therefore now, O Lord, the God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father what You promised him when You said, There shall not fail you a man before Me to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, that they walk before Me as you have done.
