O ra dunque, o Eterno, DIO d'Israele, mantieni al tuo servo Davide mio padre ciò che gli hai promesso, dicendo: "A te non mancherà mai alcuno che sieda davanti a me sul trono d'Israele, purché i tuoi figli veglino sulla loro condotta e camminino davanti a me come hai camminato tu".

Therefore now, O Lord, the God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father what You promised him when You said, There shall not fail you a man before Me to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, that they walk before Me as you have done.
