N gày rằm tháng tám, tức là tháng người tự chọn lấy, Giê-rô-bô-am đi lên bàn thờ mình đã cất tại Bê-tên. Người lập một lễ cho dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, rồi đi lên bàn thờ đặng xông hương.

So he sacrificed upon the altar which he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, the month which he had devised of his own heart, and made a feast unto the sons of Israel; and he climbed up on the altar to burn incense.
