П отом царь Цедекия послал за ним, его привели, и царь тайно расспрашивал его у себя во дворце: – Есть ли какое слово от Господа? – Есть, – ответил Иеремия. – Ты будешь отдан в руки царя Вавилона.

Zedekiah the king sent and brought him out; and the king asked him secretly in his house, Is there any word from the Lord? And Jeremiah said, There is! And he said also, You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.
