U nd Zedekia, der König, sandte hin und ließ ihn holen und fragte ihn heimlich in seinem Hause und sprach: Ist auch ein Wort vom HERRN vorhanden? Jeremia sprach: Ja; denn du wirst dem König zu Babel in die Hände gegeben werden.

Zedekiah the king sent and brought him out; and the king asked him secretly in his house, Is there any word from the Lord? And Jeremiah said, There is! And he said also, You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.
