М оисей взял с собой останки Иосифа, потому что Иосиф в свое время взял с сыновей Израиля клятву, сказав: – Бог непременно придет к вам на помощь. Возьмите тогда отсюда с собой мои останки.

And Moses also took the bones of Joseph with him, who had made the sons of Israel swear, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away from here with you.
