M osè prese con sé le ossa di Giuseppe; perché questi aveva espressamente fatto giurare i figli d’Israele, dicendo: «Dio certamente vi visiterà; allora, porterete con voi le mie ossa da qui».

And Moses also took the bones of Joseph with him, who had made the sons of Israel swear, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away from here with you.
