M axaa yeelay, tanu waxay iila mid tahay sidii biyihii wakhtigii Nuux oo kale, waayo, sidaan ugu dhaartay inaanay biyihii Nuux mar dambe dhulka kor mari doonin ayaan ugu dhaartay inaanan mar dambe kuu cadhoon doonin, iyo inaanan innaba ku canaanan doonin.

For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so I have sworn that I would not be wroth again with thee, nor reprehend thee.
