D esde hacía tiempo existía esta costumbre en Israel, referente a la redención y al contrato, que para la confirmación de cualquier negocio, uno se quitaba el calzado y lo daba a su compañero; y esto servía de testimonio en Israel.

And this formerly in Israel for redemption and for changing, to establish anything: a man hath drawn off his sandal, and given to his neighbour, and this the testimony in Israel.
