C onquistó, pues, Josué toda la región de las montañas, el Neguev, los llanos y las laderas, y a todos sus reyes, sin dejar nada; todo lo que tenía vida lo exterminó, como Jehová, Dios de Israel, se lo había mandado.

So Joshua won the war against the whole land, the hill country, the Negev, the valleys, the hill-sides, and all their kings. He left no one alive. He destroyed all who breathed, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had told him.
