g uárdate que no tropieces siguiendo el ejemplo de ellas, después que sean destruidas delante de ti; no preguntes acerca de sus dioses, diciendo: “¿De qué manera servían aquellas naciones a sus dioses, para que yo también les sirva de igual modo?”

take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
