u na vez que hayan sido destruidas delante de ti, ten cuidado de no tropezar al ir en pos de ellas. No preguntes acerca de sus dioses, ni digas: “Así como aquellas naciones servían a sus dioses, también yo les serviré.”

take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
