S e vistieron, pues, con ropas ásperas y se pusieron sogas al cuello. Luego se presentaron ante el rey de Israel y le dijeron: —Tu siervo Ben-adad dice: “Te ruego que me perdones la vida.” —Si él vive aún, mi hermano es —respondió el rey.
So they girded sackcloth on their loins and put ropes on their necks, and came to the king of Israel and said, Your servant Ben-hadad says, I pray you, let me live. And King said, Is he yet alive? He is my brother.
