E ntonces se vistieron de cilicio y se pusieron sogas en el cuello, y fueron a ver al rey. Le dijeron: «Tu siervo Ben Adad te ruega que le perdones la vida.» Y Ajab respondió: «Si el rey vive todavía, entonces es mi hermano.»

So they girded sackcloth on their loins and put ropes on their necks, and came to the king of Israel and said, Your servant Ben-hadad says, I pray you, let me live. And King said, Is he yet alive? He is my brother.
