L legó la noticia a Joab, y como también se había adherido a Adonías, si bien no se había adherido a Absalón, huyó Joab al tabernáculo de Jehová y se asió de los cuernos del altar.

Now the news came to Joab. For Joab had followed Adonijah, but he had not followed Absalom. And Joab ran to the tent of the Lord and took hold of the horns of the altar.
