C uando todo el pueblo vio que el rey no les había oído, le respondió con estas palabras: «¿Qué parte tenemos nosotros con David? No tenemos herencia en el hijo de Isaí. ¡Israel, cada uno a sus tiendas! ¡David, mira ahora por tu casa!» Entonces Israel se fue a sus tiendas,

¶ So when all Israel saw that the king did not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? There is no inheritance in the son of Jesse. To your tents, O Israel! Now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.
