P ero si el atalaya ve venir la espada y no toca la trompeta, y el pueblo no se apercibe, y viniendo la espada, quita a alguien de en medio de ellos, éste es quitado de en medio por causa de su pecado, pero demandaré su sangre de mano del atalaya.

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the horn, and the people are not told of the danger, and a sword comes and kills one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin. But the blood of the watchman must be given.’
