Y Absalón mandó llamar a Ahitófel gilonita, consejero de David, de su ciudad de Gilo y lo tuvo consigo mientras ofrecía los sacrificios. Y la conspiración se hizo poderosa, y aumentaba el pueblo que seguía a Absalón.

And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, from Giloh, while he offered the sacrifices. And the conspiracy gathered strength; and the people increased continually with Absalom.
