E l primer sorteo fue para las familias de los coatitas, que eran descendientes del sacerdote Aarón y también levitas. Ellos recibieron ciudades de las tribus de Judá, de Simeón y de Benjamín; en total, trece ciudades.

The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. So those Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin thirteen cities.
