L uego me postré delante del Señor cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, como antes lo había hecho, y por causa del gran pecado que ustedes habían cometido no comí pan ni bebí agua, pues ustedes hicieron mal a los ojos del Señor e hicieron que se enojara.

And I fell down before Jehovah, as at the first, forty days and forty nights,—I ate no bread and drank no water,—because of all your sin which ye had sinned, in doing what is evil in the eyes of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger.
