D e lo contrario, si el camino es largo, el que quiera vengar al muerto podría perseguir al homicida y alcanzarlo y, enfurecido, herirlo de muerte, cuando en realidad no merecía morir porque nunca antes medió enemistad con su prójimo.

lest the avenger of blood pursue the manslayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and smite him mortally; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.
