P or tanto, me pareció necesario rogar a los hermanos que vayan primero a visitarlos y preparen de antemano lo que ustedes ya habían prometido, para que lo tengan listo como un donativo generoso y no como una exigencia nuestra.

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would first go unto you and prepare beforehand your blessing, of which ye had given notice before that the same might be ready as a blessing, and not as of covetousness.
