¡ Ah, Señor! ¿Acaso tus ojos no se fijan en la verdad? Los castigaste, pero no les dolió; acabaste con ellos, pero no quisieron ser corregidos; endurecieron su semblante más que la roca, ¡y no quisieron volverse a ti!

O Lord, do not your eyes look on the truth? You have stricken them, but they have not grieved; You have consumed them, but they have refused to take correction or instruction. They have made their faces harder than a rock, they have refused to repent and return to You.
