» Ofrecerme un buey en sacrificio es lo mismo que matar a un hombre; ofrecerme una oveja es lo mismo que degollar un perro; presentarme una ofrenda es lo mismo que ofrecerme sangre de cerdo; quemar incienso es lo mismo que bendecir a un ídolo. Y como ellos optaron por seguir sus propios caminos y prefirieron seguir cometiendo lo que aborrezco,

Whoso slaughtereth the ox smiteth a man, Whoso sacrificeth the lamb beheadeth a dog, Whoso is bringing up a present -- The blood of a sow, Whoso is making mention of frankincense, Is blessing iniquity. Yea, they have fixed on their own ways, And in their abominations their soul hath delighted.
