C omo nuestros padres desobedecieron al Dios del cielo y de la tierra, él se enojó con su pueblo y los puso en manos del caldeo Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, el cual destruyó este templo y a nuestro pueblo se lo llevó cautivo a Babilonia.

But after our fathers raged against the God of heaven, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house and carried the people away into Babylon.
