A vendo però i nostri padri provocato ad ira il Dio del cielo, egli li diede in mano di Nebukadnetsar, re di Babilonia, il Caldeo, il quale distrusse questo tempio e deportò il popolo a Babilonia.

But after our fathers raged against the God of heaven, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house and carried the people away into Babylon.
