T odos ellos buscaron en vano el registro de sus genealogías y, como no lo hallaron, fueron excluidos del sacerdocio.

بَحَثَ هَؤلاءِ فِي السِّجِلّاتِ الرَّسمِيَّةِ عَن أصلِهِم وَنَسَبِهِمْ، فَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ ذِكرٌ فِيها، فَتَمَّ استِثْناؤُهُمْ مِنْ خِدْمَةِ الكَهَنُوتِ.
