L os descendientes de sacerdotes que tampoco pudieron demostrar si eran israelitas fueron los descendientes de Jabaías, Cos y Barzilay. Éste se casó con una de las hijas de Barzilay el galaadita, y tomó su nombre de la familia de ellas.

And of the sons of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Koz, the sons of Barzillai; who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai, the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
