D espués de reunirse con el pueblo para ponerse de acuerdo con ellos, Josafat nombró a algunos para que, ataviados con sus vestimentas sagradas, cantaran alabanzas al Señor, mientras el ejército salía con sus armas. Y decían: «¡Demos gloria al Señor, porque su misericordia es eterna!»

When he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers to sing to the Lord and praise Him in their holy garments as they went out before the army, saying, Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!
