N uestros padres en Egipto no entendieron tus maravillas; No se acordaron de la muchedumbre de tus misericordias; Sino que se rebelaron junto á la mar, en el mar Bermejo.

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
