P ărinţii noştri în Egipt n'au luat aminte la minunile Tale, nu şi-au adus aminte de mulţimea îndurărilor Tale, şi au fost neascultători la mare, la marea Roşie.

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
