С тарейшины Галаадские сказали Иеффаю: для того мы теперь пришли к тебе, чтобы ты пошел с нами и сразился с Аммонитянами и был у нас начальником всех жителей Галаадских.

The leaders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “That is why we have returned to you now. So you may go with us and fight the men of Ammon. You will be the head of all the people of Gilead.”
