G li anziani di Galaad dissero a Iefte: «Appunto per questo ora torniamo da te, perché tu venga con noi a combattere contro i figli di Ammon e tu sia capo di noi tutti che abitiamo in Galaad».

The leaders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “That is why we have returned to you now. So you may go with us and fight the men of Ammon. You will be the head of all the people of Gilead.”
