И сказал Моисей Господу: не может народ взойти на гору Синай, потому что Ты предостерег нас, сказав: проведи черту вокруг горы и освяти ее.

And Moses said to the Lord, The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for You Yourself charged us, saying, Set bounds about the mountain and sanctify it.
