A tunci David s'a sculat şi a venit la locul unde tăbărîse Saul, şi a văzut locul unde era culcat Saul, cu Abner, fiul lui Ner, căpetenia oştirii lui. Saul era culcat în cort în mijlocul taberii şi poporul era tăbărît în jurul lui.

Then David got ready and came to the place where Saul was staying. He saw the place where Saul lay, with Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his army. Saul was lying in the center of the tents, and the people were sleeping around him.
