S ă binevoiască acum împăratul, domnul meu, să asculte cuvintele robului său:, Dacă Domnul este Cel ce te atîţă împotriva mea, să primească mirosul unui dar de mîncare dela noi; dar dacă oamenii te atîţă, blestemaţi să fie înaintea Domnului, fiindcă ei mă izgonesc azi ca să mă deslipească de moştenirea... Domnului, zicîndu-mi:, Du-te de slujeşte unor dumnezei străini!`

Now I beg you, let my lord the king listen to the words of his servant. If the Lord has made you come against me, let Him receive a gift. But if men have done this, may bad come to them before the Lord. For they have driven me out this day, that I should have no share of what the Lord has given. They say, ‘Go, worship other gods.’
