S amuel a zis:,,Îi plac Domnului mai mult arderile de tot şi jertfele decît ascultarea de glasul Domnului? Ascultarea face mai mult decît jertfele, şi păzirea cuvîntului Său face mai mult decît grăsimea berbecilor.

Samuel said, Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
