E l, Isus Hristos, este Celce a venit cu apă şi cu sînge; nu numai cu apă, ci cu apă şi cu sînge; şi Duhul este Celce mărturiseşte despre lucrul acesta, fiindcă Duhul este adevărul.

This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
