Q uesti è colui che è venuto con acqua e sangue, cioè, Gesú Cristo; non con acqua soltanto, ma con acqua e con sangue. E lo Spirito è colui che ne rende testimonianza, perché lo Spirito è la verità.

This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
