V 'am adus în ţara Amoriţilor, cari locuiau dincolo de Iordan, şi ei au luptat împotriva voastră. I-am dat în mînile voastre; aţi pus stăpînire pe ţara lor, şi i-am nimicit dinaintea voastră.

I brought you into the land of the Amorites who lived on the east side of the Jordan. They fought with you, and I gave them to you. You took their land for your own when I destroyed them in front of you.
