S ă ştii dar că nu din pricina bunătăţii tale îţi dă Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, acea ţară bună ca s'o stăpîneşti; căci tu eşti un popor tare încăpăţînat.

Know therefore, that Jehovah thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.
