P rea iubiţilor, nu vă răsbunaţi singuri; ci lăsaţi să se răzbune mînia lui Dumnezeu; căci este scris:,, Răzbunarea este a Mea; Eu voi răsplăti``, zice Domnul.

not avenging yourselves, beloved, but give place to wrath; for it is written, Vengeance to me, I will recompense, saith the Lord.
